The Frenship High School National Honor Society invites the local community to celebrate Halloween at the Wolfforth City Trunk or Treat this Monday, October 31 in the FHS east parking lot. The event will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The FHS NHS organized the event to offer families a safe and friendly place to bring their kids on Halloween.
There is no admission to attend the event, but the NHS is a recommending a donation of 10 dollars per car upon arrival. All of the proceeds from the event will go to UNICEF to help save lives.
The NHS is also accepting volunteers who wish to support the festivities by reserving a space for your trunk. Anyone interested can sign up a business, organization or family and friends for a trunk.
To enter, your trunk must be decorated, have one to five people to manage the trunk during the event, and have an interactive element (games, face painting, cool things to look at, etc.). There will be awards given out to the most creative, most interactive, and most decorated trunks.
For more information or to participate, contact Guy Sexton, National Honor Society Historian, at 866-4440 or NHS Sponsor Vicki Bacon at vbacon@frenship.us.
