Battle of the Books Competition Conquered by Bennett

5th gradeReading has been all the rage across the elementary campuses of FISD recently due to the exciting Battle of the Books Competition. B.O.B. has been on the minds of FISD 3rd-5th Graders for several months now. Student teams, that were formed back in early spring, were required to read at least five out of 10 designated books and then had to answer questions over the material they read. In April, each elementary campus held their own B.O.B. competition to determine the top two teams from each of the three grade levels.

Once the teams were decided, the students continued preparing and anxiously awaited the District level competition. The top teams competed for the title of Battle of the Books Champions on May 7. With a sweeping victory, Bennett Elementary walked away with the title in all three grade levels. Congratulations to all the students who competed and keep up the reading!
