Tiger Volleyball Ends First Half of District with Win at Permian

The Tiger volleyball team finished the first half of the district schedule Friday night by knocking off Odessa Permian on the road in four games 25-20, 25-23, 26-28, 25-22.

Aaliyana Mayfield and Gracie Harrison led the offensive attack with 11 kills apiece. Kayton Genenbacher had a team-high 25 assists, Caroline Kerr added a team-high 21 digs to go with eight kills, Reagan Snuggs added 12 assists and a team-high two service aces and Hannah Page added 20 digs.

The Tigers (24-10) ended the first half of District 2-6A play with a 3-2 record. They begin the second half of district Tuesday at Odessa High at 6:00 p.m. They then host Midland Lee on Friday at 5:00 p.m. in the Tiger Pit.
