Frenship football returns to Peoples Bank Stadium this Friday, October 12 for Tiger Homecoming 2018 versus Midland Lee. The Tigers enter the contest with an overall record of 3-2 while the Rebels come in at 4-1. The game also marks the beginning of District 2-6A play for both teams.
Homecoming festivities at the stadium get underway prior to the 7:30 p.m. kickoff with the crowning of the 2018 FHS Homecoming King and Queen. The 2018 Homecoming court includes:
Queen nominees Cassandra Awatt, Avery Dear, Stephanie Piel, Mary Ribaudo and Jeanne Yang.
King nominees Jack Carman, Jake English, Josh Fredenburg, Max Rowley and Brennan Wolfe.
Junior Prince and Princess Jack Woodward and Macee Maddox.
Sophomore Prince and Princess Sebastian Aroacha and is Tae Lara.
Freshman Prince and princess Chad D. Pharies and Maddie Brouillette.
FISD will also honor the dedicated service of two legendary Tiger coaches – Bobby Davis and Don Black – during a recognition will take place at halftime. Coach Davis and Coach Black coached the Tigers together beginning in 1981 before Coach Davis retired in 2006 and Coach Black in 2011.
The award-winning Frenship Tiger Band will also present their 2018 halftime show as well.
