The students are looking forward to their futures after encouraging auditions.
Sixteen Frenship High School juniors and seniors went to the Texas Educational Theatre Association in Galveston. The purpose of the long trip to the Texas coast was to audition in front of over 30 universities in hopes of getting invited into their programs.
The impressive theater students found incredible success at their auditions
The 16 actors and theater technicians had more than a combined 200 call backs to universities. Several of the actors have already been accepted into theater programs based on their performances.
“Their future on the stage and behind the scenes is looking bright,” said FHS theater teacher Jacob Lierman.
