Two Frenship Athletes Headed to Play at Next Level

Jack StillCongratulations to two Frenship High School athletes Addison Foster and Jack Still who both signed national letters of intent with their respective universities last Wednesday. Foster will join the basketball program at Southern Nazarene University while Still will play golf at William Jewell College.

Still, already a three-year letterman, is a staple on the varsity golf team that has qualified for the Class 6A Region I Tournament later this month. This season, he shot 158 (81-77) at the Abilene High School Invitational and 156 (79-77) at the District 2-6A Preview Tournament. His sophomore season, he qualified for regionals as an individual with a 154 (79-75) at the District 2-6A Tournament. His coach at FHS is Dan McDonald.

Foster was a four-year starter for the Tigers and scored 1,166 points in her 132-game career. As a senior, she averaged 10.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.4 steals. She’s been named 1st Team All-District, TGCA Academic All-State, TABC Academic All-State, THSCA Honorable Mention Academic All-State, and made the All-Tournament teams at the Frenship Tournament and the Caprock Tournament.

She also been named 2nd Team All–Lonestar Varsity, the Lonestar Varsity Player of the Week, the Fox 34 Player of the Week, and TGCA All-State where she played on the TGCA Legacy All-Star Team in July 2016. Frenship was 26-9 and made the Class 6A area playoffs in 2017. Her coach at Frenship is Trent Hilliard
