In an effort to expand students’ perspectives about opportunities for the future, Bennett Elementary School hosted a Career Day on Wednesday, October 4.
Students were encouraged to participate in a “My Future Career” themed dress up day, participated in presentations from professionals in diverse fields of work, and created artwork based off of their ambitions for the future.
Third grader Sydney Gossett was excited to learn about new career opportunities.
“My favorite career presentation was about property management. I didn’t know about it before, and I like that I could design houses and help give people a home,” explained Gossett.
