Crestview Principal Elected TEPSA State Officer

Crestview Elementary principal Stacy Davis has been elected as the Secretary for Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) Executive Committee in 2015-2016.

Davis currently serves on the TEPSA Board of Directors as the Membership, Marketing and Public Relations Chair.  As the TEPSA Secretary, Davis will be making a difference in public education in a variety of areas:

-Her new connections in Austin will create opportunities to build relationships with businesses, legislators and other associations in order to influence the importance in partnering up with public school priorities.

-Davis will obtain a deeper understanding of issues at the state and national levels and have the ability to influence state and national policy decision-makers in order to set strategic direction for students and learning.

-TEPSA officers play a vital role in mentoring school leaders via their responsibilities with our Board of Directors, Standing Committee members, and beginning administrators.

-TEPSA volunteer leaders participate in national, statewide and local events in order to keep TEPSA visible in the region and to actively contribute to growing membership and leadership.

Davis, a 10-year veteran of Frenship ISD, will hold the Secretary position for the next TEPSA term, and she will have the opportunity to progress to the office of TEPSA President in future terms.  Each state officer serves TEPSA an average of six years.
